Timergara Medical College

held a productive and detailed meeting with the Honorable Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Muhammad Sohail Afridi. The meeting focused on discussing key matters related to Timergara Medical College, including outstanding administrative & academic issues. The Honorable Chief Minister assured his full cooperation & commitment to resolving all concerns on a priority basis and reaffirmed that classes at Timergara Medical College will commence within the current year.

TMC principal Prof Abrar Lakhkar Khan told Dawn that management was set to start classes in the long-delayed college from that academic year after completion of the process of appointing faculty members as per criteria set forth by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC),the regulator of medical education in the country.

Timergara Medical College Dir Lower conducted walk‑in interviews on 10 December 2025 at PGPI, near PHSA Duranpur, Peshawar, as per Advertisement Addendum INF(P)29/76/25.
Interviews followed government, PM&DC and department rules.

He further directed that all administrative offices of the college be shifted and established at the faculty hostel to ensure smooth, organized, and efficient official functioning. Prof. Dr. Saidul Abrar demonstrated his dedicated professionalism and proactive leadership, emphasizing his vision to make Timergara Medical College fully functional, academically vibrant, and administratively efficient in the shortest possible time.

During the session, the Principal shared clear guidelines & key points on making the college fully functional, addressing all staff members in a very encouraging & gracious manner.
